Received $10,000 AIS Grant from Meeker County that will fund paid boat launch monitors in 2016.

Worked with Crow River Organization of Water and Meeker AIS Task Force to place aquatic invasive species signage at the southwest boat launch at no cost to LFARCC.

Applied for a $3,500 grant to purchase 100 zebra mussel detectors for distribution to home/cabin owners.

Surveyed members for input on programs and topics that are most important to them. The information collected will help guide the Board in prioritizing and decision-making.

Painted and maintained lake signage.

Updated the Lake Francis Lake Management Plan, which helps guide the Association and is necessary for grants.

Conducted AIS watches at the boat launches on holiday and other weekends throughout the summer.

Participated as one of 10 lakes in a CROW project which tests and monitors phosphorus levels.

Represented members on water quality and AIS committees in both Meeker and Wright Counties.

Conducted regular water sampling.

Placed buoys to warn boaters of rocks near Holiday Beach.

Monitored and cleaned out Eagle Creek.

Worked with the DNR on a milfoil watch program.

Hosted Annual Picnic with 108 attendees.
